The program centers on a Ghana-focused itinerary, exposing participants to historically significant and culturally rich locations in Ghana. Tour Ghana is a major component of the experiential-learning credit awarded to students.
The program comprises five modules: Ghanaian Language and Culture (GLC), Transatlantic Slave Trade (TST), Public Health (PH), Performing Arts (PA), and Gender and Development (GD).
Participants choose electives based on personal interests and professional aims. Coursework includes lectures, group discussions, and experiential learning excursions. Each module is worth three credit hours.
All participants are required to undertake mandatory volunteer work at least two (2) times a week and at most three (3) times per week.
While the programme typically runs in June and September, we offer flexible arrangements for individuals and institutions throughout the year. Institutional coordinators are welcome to contact us to discuss arrangements and schedule a programme that suits their needs.
